Step-by-Step Malaysia Student Visa Process
- Apply Through Your Institution: Submit your visa application to the Malaysian educational institution where you have been accepted.
- Institution Forwards Application: The institution sends your documents to the Directors of the Pass and Permit Division at the Malaysian Immigration Department.
- Document Requirements:
- Two passport-sized photos
- Two photocopies of your passport
- Personal Bond signed by the institution (no fee)
- Student Pass Application Form (IMM14) in duplicate
- Offer Letter or Letter of Acceptance from the institution
- Two passport-sized photos
- Immigration Review: The Immigration Department reviews your application.
- Notification: Within 7 days, the institution informs you of your visa status, whether approved or otherwise.
